主讲人简介：
Dr. Nandadulal Bairagi is a Professor of Department of Mathematics, Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India. He is also the Coordinator of Centre for Mathematical Biology and Ecology, Department of Mathematics. He has produced four Ph. D. And six students are pursuing their Ph. D. under his supervision. His field of interest includes Mathematical Ecology, Epidemiology, optimal controls and nonlinear dynamic.
主讲内容：
In complex bioogical systems, everything cannot be measured and that is why mathematical modelling becomes very useful there. In this talk, I shall try to show how mathematical model can be helpful in understanding the vital dynamics of hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal(HPA) axis.
